Announcement: Last intake for the Synapse Program

As we approach the conclusion of this fruitful year, we would like to thank all students and staff for the great support in making every run of the Synapse Program an incredible experience, and providing the great support and follow-up for each and every trader.

To end the year with a BANG, I would like to take this opportunity to officially open the application for the last batch of  the Synapse Program for 2013. As per our usual tradition, this intake will be limited to the 1st 20 new applicants – unfortunately already more than half are filled from the waiting list from our last intake.

We plan to fill up all the seats by the end of October so that we can start making detailed preparations, and for this we are offering an early bird special price till the end of October. If you are interested, do act fast, or you might end up on the waiting list for next year.

The Red Party at Sentosa, Singapore

Yesterday, we decided to celebrate the great trading results we achieved last week by doing something different, so we browsed through my guestlist invitations and decided to try something different this weekend.

We ended up along Tanjong Beach Club at Sentosa for the Red Party Guestlist by Estrella Damm, and boy, what a day!

It was truly an awesome event, and I’ll let the pictures do the talking :]

Real Trading Skills Seminar | Live Sharing Session & Market Outlook

Yesterday, we had another great live sharing session and market outlook, where we followed-up from the previous session 2 weeks ago.

In the last session, the focus was on the FOMC and interest rates; now the focus is on the debt ceiling and the new deadline: October 17. 2 weeks ago, we called for a short on the STI and the Us markets. You can check out what happened after that.

We had a discussion on many SGX counters, and I shared my top picks with all who attended this session. We also discussed the EUR/USD and Gold, which I will be sharing more tomorrow. Hint: I am heavily short on both.

After the session, I had dinner and drinks with two fund managers who came by from Vietnam to attend this session. Those who attended this session would have seen them in the front row. Needless to say, I will be seeing them in my next mentoring program intake.

Guinness Arthur’s Day Concert Party!

What a way to end the trading week with a bang, by taking up the party invitation by Guinness for their Arthur’s Day party!

It was a great event with free flow of food and drinks, and of course, the highlight of the party was the performance by “The Fray” – here are some photos we managed to sneak :p
