Synapse Trading vs Collin Seow vs Rayner Teo vs Adam Khoo: The Honest 4-Way

We are Synapse Trading, one of the 4 names in this comparison. You should know that before you read a word of it.

Many versus pages in this industry are written by affiliates paid on commission, or by one of the schools pretending to be neutral. We’d rather say so up front, and then do something more useful. We’ll tell you who each of the other 3 beats us for, make the strongest honest case for each, and then make ours. If the rival sections read like a hit job, close the tab and trust nothing else on our site either.

First, who this page is not for

If you want to day trade, we are not your answer. Our method is end-of-day only.

If you only want signals to copy without learning the method, look hard before you buy from any of us. We do sell a signals service, Daily Trading Signals, at S$1,200 a year. It hands you the trades and deliberately teaches none of the method. If learning to find trades yourself is the goal, a signals feed is the wrong product, ours included.

And if you have no savings buffer and you are hoping trading rescues your finances, please don’t buy any course, ours included. Fix the buffer first.

Still here? Good. Here is the honest 4-way.

The case for Collin Seow, and who should choose him over us

Collin Seow’s The Systematic Trader has the most Seedly reviews of the four of us: 4.9 stars across 2,224, more than six times ours. He is a former remisier, holds the CFTe, and teaches a systematic, rules-based method. His TradersGPS software sits at the centre of it: a position-trading algorithm that does the scanning for you, so the daily shortlist is already made when you sit down. For someone who gets home tired at eight and has twenty minutes before dinner, having the scan already done by software removes the one step that most part-time traders quietly skip in a busy week.

Choose Collin over us if you want software shortlisting your trades each day and you like the safety of the biggest Seedly review base. What we’d have you check first: the price. His site shows none. Then ask what the software costs once any bundled period ends. Know both numbers before you commit.

The case for Rayner Teo, and who should choose him over us

Rayner Teo built a YouTube trading channel of over 2 million subscribers. His free videos teach the method itself, in full, at no cost, and they are among the best free trading education you can find. His paid range runs from self-paced courses up to his top programme at US$2,499 to US$4,999, which adds ten live trading sessions, at least 12 live coaching sessions and an accountability coach. Seedly: 4.8 across 529 reviews.

Choose Rayner over us if budget is the constraint, or you’re a disciplined self-learner who does not need a classroom. We mean it: watch his free content before paying anyone, us included. What we’d have you check first: yourself. Most of his range is self-paced. His lower-priced live options are short events, and the coached programme is the top tier. Most people learn worse alone than they think they do.

The case for Adam Khoo, and who should choose him over us

Adam Khoo is the most established name here. He has taught the stock market since 2005 and runs one of the deepest course catalogues in the region, with separate on-demand programmes per asset class. Stock Trading Level 1 is S$1,297 including tax and Level 2 (Market Snapper) is S$2,997, with a live masterclass tier above them. His YouTube channel has over a million subscribers, so you can audition his teaching for free before you spend anything. Seedly: 4.8 across 387 reviews.

Choose Adam over us if you want to go deep on one specific market, especially options. What we’d have you check first: the total cost across the markets you want, since each course is priced on its own. As with any course, ours included, judge it by the curriculum and the refund terms rather than the marketing.

The case for us, in the same format

Spencer Li started Synapse Trading in 2012 and has taught trading in Singapore ever since. It became a company in 2013. He has more than 15 years of trading behind him, holds the CFTe, and ran SkillsFuture-accredited courses for 7 years.

What we sell differs from all 3 in one way. The Trading Mastery Program is a small live bootcamp, about 20 people and never more than 30, teaching one end-of-day swing system that takes about 15 minutes each evening. We built it that way because a working professional has about one quiet slot a day, and a system that needs the screen during market hours tends to fail the first week the job gets busy. It comes with 10+ hours of recorded lessons, a 2-day live bootcamp, run four times a year, that you can re-sit free, and 12 months of daily trade signals afterwards. The price is published: S$3,580, one time. Seedly: 5.0 across 300+ reviews.

Choose us if you have a full-time job, you want live teaching small enough to ask questions in, and you want the price public before you show up. What we’d have you check first: whether end-of-day swing trading is what you want, because it is all we teach. One school, one method, done properly. That is the bet.

The 30-second version

Here is the honest map. Most Seedly reviews and software-assisted: Collin. Best free content and the cheapest way in: Rayner. A wide per-market catalogue: Adam. Small live classes for working professionals, price published: us.

All 4 of us have strong independent reviews, so you are not choosing between a good school and a scam. You are choosing a format. Pick the one that fits your week, not the marketing that fits your hopes.

If a small live class is your format, read what the Trading Mastery Program covers and hold it against everything we just told you about the other 3.
