SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. In 2016, Singaporeans aged 25 and above received an opening creditt of $500. This will not expire and Singaporeans may accumulate their credit for a range of SkillsFuture credit-eligible courses.
To further encourage Singaporeans to take timely action and reskill and upskill to seize opportunities in the future economy, from 1 October 2020, a one-off SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $500 is provided to every Singapore Citizen aged 25 years and above as at 31 December 2020. Singaporeans aged 40 to 60 as at 31 December 2020 would have also received an Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) of $500. These new SkillsFuture Credit provisions will expire on 31 December 2025 and can be used on all SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses.

Glad that I managed to join the class in time. The most interesting point that I have learnt is about how insiders like investment banks and funds do stock analysis and valuation, and it is really different from what I read online and in books.

I am not really that hyped about cryptocurrencies but SPAC is something that I have been reading more about myself after the course.
Looks like SPAC is not doing so well and most of them are trading below their Initial launch price.
In addition, I feel that Grab SPAC might be the one that will do better. What do you think about it?
SPACS were hot last year, but they are no longer popular this year. Personally I have avoided SPACS because I don’t like their proposition. On the other hand, cryptocurrencies and DeFi offer a lot more opportunities now.

I was not expecting too much from this class due to the limited time in this course, so this review is not based on the content, but rather the flow and presentation.
For a good 60-70% of the course, you are given ample time to apply what you learnt during the Q and A sessions, especially the last portion of the course, where you get to apply on actual and latest tech products in the market.
My notes look like what I did when I was a student in college with mind maps and highlighting XD Intensive content and having your own notes definitely helps me.
Finally, I really hope we can get an advanced course on this as I understand the restraint that spencer has with the limited time that he can cover.

Hey Spencer, thank you for the 8 hour lesson that you conducted! The pace is comfortable and as much as certain information might be overwhelming for beginners, you did a great job in making it simple and bite pieces for us to understand.
One of the cool facts that I learnt as an investor is to use tech ETF to hedge against risks if I am placing larger bets.
Its also an eye-opener to see how the 12 forces will drive the future in our economy and daily lives.

Informative course; excellent practical examples and definitely real world applications, however, would be great if there was more time in the hands on learning the various platforms and analysis while applying what was taught (the free time given to practice is not sufficient).
This would help with traditional people who is not so adapt in the latest technology and platforms.

There is a lot of information and content to take in and sometimes my brain went into overdrive mode.
The most standout information is how bankers and fund managers perform their stock valuation and stock analysis in actual real life scenarios vs. what I understand and read from books and online sources. Spencer has highlighted this very well and I feel that the time and money is worth it for me by just learning and understanding how to apply the “secret” way of how the pros do it.
Its also an eye-opening experience to see how Spencer manages his portfolio in the technology sector and also shares why and how he did it!

I found the information in the course really useful. The material in this course was adequate given the amount of time that Spencer was allocated.
Something that have always impressed me is when the trainer goes beyond what the slides got to offer. Spencer did actually add value to the slides tremendously with examples and hands-on practice to ensure that the student has absorbed what was being taught.

1) Spencer did an excellent job of compiling and sharing his insights on the latest tech trends in the ever-evolving field.
2) It was a bit dry for the first 1 hour on Day 1 of the class as I understand that he had to lay the fundamental and the introduction of the class for learners who are not well versed in technology. However, it became more interesting as he started to apply and touch on how technology is affecting our investment outlook and choices by showing us practical examples and analysis.
3) I especially appreciate a certain program which Spencer will share that helps to make technical analysis so much easier and to assist in my decision to put my money in at which point of time.

I did learnt a ton from this course which I can testify to.
The trainer was able to make my learning journey so much easier. Spencer spent quite a fair bit of time giving examples and well timed Q and As.
This was unlike any other courses which I attended whereby the trainer just “read out notes from the slides”. The trainer is definitely knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about and proficient in handling certain advanced questions from some students during the lesson.
I was able to absorb the materials better with his recent usage of real life examples to illustrate the different concepts and it made the course more interesting overall.

The technology course was well structured and pace was a bit fast in my opinion. Many relevant and extra readings provided for us to understand about the different crypto and new products in the market.
Overall, definitely value for money and have learnt so much during these 2 days! I also learnt how to do staking and the different updated strategies to do investing in the crypto market (not just bitcoin of course!).
Was already in forex trading before joining the course. Decided to take up this course to diversify my investments.
I am glad that I made the right decisions. Got to keep up with the times and not be stagnant. The risks are definitely higher with crypto and other digital finance products. NFT is something that always elude me and I might consider purchasing it next time.
I am still not too convinced if what I am learning from the trading strategies is applicable for cryptocurrencies market. It’s so volatile and the up and down swings are supposed to be common.
Overall, the course is what it has promised to be. Definitely a lot of information if you have never delve into such topics and revision of the topics are possible with the recordings provided.
The cyrpto and technology course is simple and easy to follow as Spencer is knowledgeable in it. The course content is value for money of what it’s worth and sufficient to capture all the key points of the various topics. There is also a community group chat to support and to meet other students who are also interested and vested in crypto.
I need to point out that this course is not just a dry course as what you imagined it to be.
Spencer covered some practical theories and strategies on how to apply and make money using them. Can be daunting and scary since it’s something I have never done before.
I tried the strategy with a small sum of money with Ethereum and its working! Maybe going to invest a bit into ETF suggested by Spencer and its a good time to enter as the price has dropped.
Overall, I enjoy the course a lot more than I thought and it was a well spent weekend for a life-long knowledge.
In summary, I have learned a lot in terms of the different strategies using certain tools taught in the class. The examples and guides are also useful to explain the main points, including the Q&A along the way. Moreover, there are a lot of supplementary reading if we want to understand the various topics better. Another selling point of the course is the practicality of the strategies after the theories near to the end of class. I’m still glad that I’ve taken this tech and crypto course.
