Spencer is an avid globetrotter who achieved financial freedom in his 20s, while trading & teaching across 70+ countries. As a former professional trader in private equity and proprietary funds, he has over 15 years of market experience, and has been featured on more than 20 occasions in the media.
Currently, he manages a diversified portfolio of equities, ETFs, commodities, currencies, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and DeFi projects.
In his earlier days, he was a competitive chess player, and was ranked 7th in Singapore when he was 17. Since then, having read over 2,000 books, he has written over 1,000 articles on his blog, and has personally mentored hundreds of traders worldwide.
He is frequently invited to speak both locally & internationally at conferences (World Wealth Creation Conference, Invest Global), universities (SMU, NUS, NTU, SIM), financial institutions (Singapore Stock Exchange, banks, brokerages) and MNCs (Bain & Co Consulting).
He was also chosen to speak to a live audience of 2,500+ pax at the National Achievers Congress, which in previous years featured speakers like Jack Ma, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson and Jay Abraham.
He holds double degrees (Dean’s List) in Accountancy & Finance from the Singapore Management University (SMU), and is also a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) conferred by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA).
In his free time, he enjoys tennis, sci-fi, psychology and philosophy.
